These lampshades are made from a French C19 cotton ikat which was originally a curtain. They are traditionally pleated with calico lining and standard UK bulb fitting. There are 2 available but they are not a pair as the height of the bulb holder is 1cm different. If the lamps are placed apart, eg either side of a bed this is not noticeable.
