Banjara Cushion With Rust Tassels

This cushion is made from a vintage Banjara bag that has been opened out. The bag is made from several layers of recycled cotton fabric that is quilted together with a thick cotton stitch in a herringbone pattern. the top layer of cotton is a Balotra block print in a faded to greeny blue and madder rusty red. I've backed the cushion with an an antique linen, hand dyed teal and added handmade tassels in a rust coloured cotton. There is a zip fasteners and feather pad.
