Miao Silk Embroidered Cushion

This exquisite cushion is an embroidered panel taken from the back of a jacket. The embroidery by the Miao hilltribe is in silk thread and is all hand done. It is eye-wateringly perfect. It is about 30 years old in red blue orange and white silks. The background textile is brown and I've lined, piped and backed the cushion in a heavy brown linen. Its a cushion to be admired on a decorative piece of furniture rather than sat on, and this will preserve it in tip top condition for many years to come. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
