This is an attractive open armed library chair. It has wonderful curved rails, turned arm supports and turned legs with the original cope casters. I've covered it with a very rare striped textile from Songjiang, Shanghai. The textile was hand woven on a narrow loom and is coloured with natural dyes, predominantly green and indigo. The green is a natural dye and this is very rare to find now.
