I love these cushions. They are made from an early Zhuang wedding blanket which dates to the early C20. It is very finely woven, and the cotton is dark grey as opposed to the usual off white. I have backed them with a similar natural dark grey hemp.
They will be perfect to dress a bed with, but I wouldn't recommend their use in an area of heavily used seating.
