Yao Checked Cushions with Tassels

These lovely cushions are made from a Yao Minority homespun textile in red and very dark blue. The textile is Quing dynasty which dates it to at least 100 years old.
The corners have plain cotton tassels, there are zip closures and feather pads. There are 4 available. On one cushion there is an area where the weaver had run out of one of the colours so the pattern has changed from check to stripe which is a nice story.
