A truly stunning way to display a skirt. This is a vintage hemp Miao minority skirt from SW China. It is heavily pleated and fans out into a full circle, showing the beautiful indigo batik and ribbon embroidery to its full effect. The skirt is mounted on linen over a stretched canvas. Perspex covers can be supplied at an additional cost, please ask for details. Thy are not necessary but can give the whole piece a more contemporary look.
These skirts are large and useful space fillers, and work beautifully in pairs. If you are interested in a  pair please let me know.
