Bronze and Teal Zhuang Cushions

These beauties were made from the 2 halves of a silk Zhuang baby blanket. The silk was originally pink and has oxidized over time to this beautiful bronze colour. There are small diamonds of indigo silk in the weave and these have taken on a teal accent. The silk brocade is thick and strong and truly beautiful. You can see some of the original colour of the textile on its reverse side.
The cushions are backed with vintage hemp which has been dyed teal with natural dyes and the corners have handmade linen tassels in teal.
An exquisite and unique pair of cushions.
