Swat Valley Dowry Cushion

This cushion is made from a Swat Valley wedding pillow. It dates to the 1930s and is in exquisite condition. It is very difficult to find older textiles like these now. There are others available but are much later and not nearly as nice. The cushion is backed with natural linen, and the corners have handmade silk tassels. The cushion is large and would look spectacular on a bed propped up against the pillows.
