Miao collar cushion

This magnificent cushion is made from a vintage Miao cape. I've removed the central collar and sewn the 2 shoulder panels together to make the cushion front. The needle work is extraordinary and would have taken its creator over 6 months to do. It's made up of applique and embroidery on a tiny scale. You need to spend a bit of time just looking at it to appreciate the skill in making it (not me, the Miao lady). Its a lovely big cushion and has a hand dyed vintage hemp back in grass green. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
