Wow! just wow! even though I say it myself. These two beauties are made from a vintage Dai minority wedding blanket in light and dark blue and off white. I haven't seen this colourway before and its very striking. To make the most of the design, I've framed the textile with a border top and bottom. In order to get the right frame and backing textile, which is an intense indigo, I've cut up a minority skirt. This has the added bonus of the heavily pleated fabric once ironed out, having an interesting wavy texture. There are zip fasteners and feather pads. A unique and exquisite item, perfect for dressing a bed or a special sofa.
