Extra Large Rabari chakla cushions

Wow! These 2 pillows are made from a pair of Rabari chaklas (wall hangings) that are the most exquisite quality. The stitching is tiny and beautifully executed and the mirror work tight and neat. The chaklas would have taken hundreds of hours to make and work of this skill is not found any more. Many of the designs that are done later substitute ric-rac  for hand stitches and this saves the needle woman quite a lot of time. But not these ones, all hand done! The chaklas are 27" square so the reduce their size I've used some of the textile as a flange border, leaving a 23 square cushion. The backs are plain vintage hemp. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.

These textiles are large, exquisite and very rare and this is reflected in the price of the cushions. The chacklas were made as a pair and I would prefer that the cushions were kept as a pair if possible.
