Vintage folk cushion

This cushion is made from a delightful handloomed thick cotton European folk textile with a supplementary weft pattern in red. The red floating weft yarns have faded beautifully and appear pink and even white but are mainly intact. The cotton ground is off white and I've backed the cushion with a minority cotton homespun with a blue stripe. There are handmade red tassels at the corners, zip fastener and feather pad.
Due to the potentially fragile nature of the floating wefts I would recommend using this cushion on a secondary seating area or a bed.
It is a beautiful cushion!
