Orissa silk cushions

Dimensions:

I was able to make 3 beautiful cushions from a vintage shawl from Orissa. The shawl is handloomed from tussah silk and cotton and has a beautiful slubby texture from the hand spun silk. The colour of the silk is quite dark in places and the cotton is a natural dye the colour of terracotta. There is a pretty ikat pattern on the cushion front and a single stripe on the back. The cushions have zip fasteners and feather pads. The third Orissa cushion has tassels and is listed separately.
