Thus large vintage Banjara rumal is so perfect I had to frame it to preserve it's beauty. Pieces like this are so rare now in this sort of condition and  I was lucky enough to find a couple. The quilting stitching is tiny and immaculate with wonderful couched pattern in the borders. The colours are natural dyes and there are some original cowries and pom pom tassels for added decoration. This is a preserved piece of social history as well as a decorative textile used as wall art.
