Indigo striped Yoruba cushion with tassels

These cushions are made from an austere but very beautiful antique Yoruba strip-weave cloth. It dates from c1900 but is in excellent condition. The colours are light blue indigo stripes against a dark blue indigo, so dark that it almost reads as black. I've backed the cushions with an indigo dyed vintage linen which works beautifully with the lighter indigo stripes, and added light blue tassels at the corners in re-cycled jeans yarn. There are more cushions from this wonderful textile, listed separately without the tassels.
