Large Savu ikat cushions

These 2 cushions are made from a vintage thick cotton ikat from Savu, Indonesia. The textile was originally a tube skirt, which was woven in panels and sewn together to make he skirt. It is handloomed and the cotton coloured with plant dyes, predominantly dark indigo and morinder. I've backed the cushions with a natural linen, and there are zip fasteners and feather pads. They are a super big size for either a sofa or a bed. It's very hard to find good vintage examples of these textiles now and these should be treasured.
