Yellow mud cloth cushions with green tassels

These cushions are made from a contemporary mud cloth from Mali. The mud cloth is made from thick hand-spun cotton that is handloomed into strips and the strips sewn together to make a bigger cloth. The cloth is resist dyed traditionally with mud hence the name mud cloth. This yellow colour caught my eye as it is really pretty. I've added green tassels, also coloured with natural dyes. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
