Flores ikats with stripey backs

These cushions are made from a vintage tube skirt from Flores, Indonesia. The skirt was made from hand loomed thick cotton yarn in an ikat weave that was coloured with natural dyes. The colours are muted browns with a hint of pink, and are lovely and mellow. I've backed the cushions with a stripey handwoven textile in handspun cotton from Java. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
