Songjiang cushions large check

These cushions are made from a vintage cotton textile from the Songjiang area of East China. The textile is handloomed with pre dyed cotton yarn and is in two tones of blue in a wonderful large check pattern. Because of the hand loomed nature of the textile, geometric patterns are very difficult to match up. This should be seen as a charateristic of the handmade nature and not a defect. The patterns therefore don't match up at the seams. The textile was originally destined for work wear, but now happily has become cushions. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
