Lombok cushions, blue stripe

These cushions are made from a handwoven textile from Lombok Indonesia. The cotton yarns have been pre dyed with natural plant dyes and then woven. The colours are lovely and muted and the main light blue colour is very attractive. the other colours are mid brown, beige and white. The weaver has used some decorative floating weft stitches traditional to this area, known as songket.  There are rust coloured tassels at the corners and zip fasteners and feather pads.
