Indigo resist with rust tassels

These 2 cushions are made from a handwoven textile from East China, that was the top part of a quilt or pugai. The decorative pattern is achieved using the indigo resist technique and is a very pretty floral design. I've backed the cushions with another vintage handwoven Chinese textile, and this is in light blue, rust, off white and black cotton yarn. It looks wonderful with the indigo front. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
