Long Ewe Cushion

This Ewe cushion appears to be in quite muted tones which is unusual for this type of textile. This has been achieved with a dark green ground colour decorated with tiny dark red floating wefts. The weft blocks have some brighter colours, but these are also quite subdued, probably by age. I've backed the cushion with a vintage handwoven textile in blue with a muted red stripe and i think it works beautifully. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
